New Media at New Belgium
If you haven't seen it yet, New Belgium Brewing Company has a slick new Flash-based virtual tour on their website for your perusal. The animation is terrific and the information is cool, but you better have a high speed internet connection to get the full effect of the site - it's graphic intensive. The tour sort of looks like an episode of Mr. Rogers Neighborhood except that there's a bike instead of a trolly and Mr. Rogers apperently really likes beer ... he may or may not still sport the sweater. NB obviously sunk some serious money into this project and it shows. Check it out when you get a few moments. The next best thing to visiting Fort Collins? Perhaps.

Nothing will ever beat visiting the actual New Belgium Brewery. The staff are highly knowledgeable and friendly and the beers are awesome! That's a clever site - lots of eye candy to see. They also still have their old low bandwidth site as well if you're just looking for info on their beer.

One clarification/kudo I must toss out: While we did throw a ton of talent at developing our new site it was -with the exception of a great local programmer, Brian - all New Belgium co-workers; it may look like pricey agency work, but it really was just us living up to our company purpose of "making our love and talent manifest." Mighty props to the master tinkerer behind the site Aaron and his SO Sarah. Plus, Mel, Jodi, Bryan, Todd, Adrian, Carrie, Ryan, and Andi for all their creative contributions.
Hi Greg - Thank you for the comment and the clarification. The site is obviously impressive and you should be proud that you have such talented folks at New Belgium! My apologies for assuming this was an "outside job." You guys can clearly do far more than brew great beer ... which is also a talent of yours!
